THE BOSS
Founder Keron McHugh is a renowned award-winning artist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He has been a beacon in the tattoo industry and his work has received notoriety since his humble beginnings in the craft in 2010. His creations have been featured in Forbes, Inked, The Washington Post, Triangle Business Journal, Central City Ink Magazine, the Jamwhich Magazine, Around the Triangle radio show, Mebane Enterprise, the Hustler Files podcast, Music & Arts festivals as well as in fine art galleries. Keron has developed unique styles and innovative approaches to the art and science of tattooing, including cutting edge design development and application methods. Some of his favorite genres to tattoo are Geometric, Watercolor, Surrealism, Realism, Ornamental, Synth-Nouveau, Trash Polka, and fusions of multiple tattooing styles.
In addition to being a tattooist, he is also a musician, poet, painter, mixed media wizard, digital designer, novelist and martial artist. Engaged with the arts on every level, he serves as secretary of the board for the local non-profit M.U.S.E Mebane, Creative Director of Redux Beverages, produces/organizes/hosts art & entertainment functions, mentors young people in the community, provides art supplies to local schools, sponsors arts programs, and so much more. Keron and his team have forged a therapeutic arts hub and community center within The Cardinal where everyone is welcome to experience the magic of the arts and express themselves as they are, while learning something new each time.
